Overview
You can make sure your HubSpot Active List and Kixie PowerList always match. When a contact is added to your HubSpot Active List, they get added to your Kixie PowerList. When a contact leaves the Active List, they are removed from your Kixie PowerList.
What You Need:
- Connect Kixie to HubSpot
- Access to HubSpot Workflows
- Access to HubSpot Active Lists
Step 1: Create Your HubSpot Active List
- In HubSpot, make an Active List that catches the contacts who recently texted your Kixie numbers.
- Active Lists are easy to use and support more flexible enrollment filters than using HubSpot Workflows.
Step 2: Set Up Two HubSpot Workflows
You need two workflows. One adds contacts to your Kixie PowerList and the other removes contacts when they are no longer in your Active List.
Workflow 1: Add Contacts to Your Kixie PowerList
-
Start a New Workflow:
- Choose a Contact-based workflow.
-
Set the Trigger:
- Pick “When filter criteria is met.”
- Under “List memberships,” select your Active List and choose “is member of list.”
- If you want to be able to re-enroll Contacts, toggle Re-enrollment ON.
-
Add an Action:
- Choose “Kixie: Add to PowerList.”
- Enter the ID of the Kixie PowerList you want to use.
-
Review & Publish:
- Check your settings and then publish the workflow.
- We recommend not enrolling your existing Contacts into this workflow.
- (If you want to add contacts already in your Active List, see Step 3.)
Workflow 2: Remove Contacts from Your Kixie PowerList
-
Start a New Workflow:
- Again, choose a Contact-based workflow.
-
Set the Trigger:
- Pick “When filter criteria is met.”
- Under “List memberships,” select your Active List and choose “is not a member of list.”
-
Add an Action:
- Choose “Kixie: Remove from PowerList.”
- Enter the ID of the Kixie PowerList you want to use.
- Or, choose “Remove from All PowerLists” to remove the contact from every PowerList in your account.
-
Review & Publish:
- Check your settings and then publish the workflow.
Step 3: Import Your Existing List (Optional)
- If your Active List already has many contacts, you can import them all at once into your Kixie PowerList using Kixie’s HubSpot List Import feature.
- Importing saves API calls compared to adding contacts one by one through a workflow.
Review
- Use one Kixie PowerList for each HubSpot Active List.
- Set up two workflows: one to add and one to remove contacts.
- Import your existing list directly if you want to save on API calls.
Now your Kixie PowerList and HubSpot Active List will always stay in sync automatically!
