Kixie's Zapier Integration

Kixie’s integration with Zapier allows businesses to automate workflows, saving time and reducing manual effort. By connecting Kixie with over 6,000 apps on Zapier, users can streamline call automation, SMS communication, and CRM updates without coding. Whether you need to trigger calls, manage contacts in PowerLists and Cadences, or automate follow-ups, Kixie’s Zapier integration enhances productivity and ensures sales teams stay focused on closing deals.

Connecting Kixie to Zapier

To connect Kixie to your Zapier account, you will need to retrieve your API key and Business ID. Admin access in Kixie is required to access this data.

To find your credentials:

1. Sign into the Kixie dashboard.
2. Navigate to Manage > Account Settings > Integrations.

Zapier Triggers

Kixie does not have formal triggers in Zapier. However, you can trigger Zaps based on Kixie events using Webhooks by Zapier:

1. Select the application "Webhooks by Zapier" in your Zap setup.
2. Choose the event “Catch Hook” in Zapier.
3. Copy the endpoint URL generated by Zapier and input it into Kixie’s event webhooks section in the Kixie dashboard.

Zapier Actions

Kixie offers the following automation options in Zapier’s Action steps:

Add to Cadence

Sends a Contact’s phone number into a Kixie Call Cadence.

Setup:

• Target Phone Number: Input the Contact’s phone number.
• Cadence ID: Enter the Cadence ID from Manage > Automation > Cadences in the Kixie dashboard.
• Display Name: Provide context for agents in Kixie’s PowerCall dialer.

Add to PowerList

Sends a Contact’s phone number into a Kixie PowerList.

Setup:

• PowerList ID: Find it in Manage > PowerLists in the Kixie dashboard.
• Phone Number(s): Input up to 5 phone numbers per Contact.
• Contact Details: Map Contact details like name, email, and job title.
• Next Call Refresher: Adds notes for the next call in the PowerDialer.
• Duplicate Handling: Choose Merge, Overwrite, or Ignore for duplicate phone numbers.

Make a Call

Creates an outbound call for an Agent or a team of Agents.

Setup:

• User Email Address: Enter the Kixie user’s email.
• Target Phone Number: Contact’s phone number.
• Action Display Name: Context for agents in PowerCall.
• Action Type: Choose Call (sends directly to an agent) or Queue (sends to a Kixie Queue).
• Queue ID: If using a Queue, input its ID from the Kixie dashboard.

Remove From All PowerLists

Removes a Contact’s phone number from all PowerLists in your Kixie account.

Setup:

• Phone Number: Input the phone number to be removed.

Remove From Cadence

Removes a Contact’s phone number from a specific Kixie Cadence.

Setup:

• Target Phone Number: Contact’s phone number.
• Cadence ID: ID of the Cadence to remove them from.

Remove From PowerList

Removes a Contact’s phone number from a specific Kixie PowerList.

Setup:

• Phone Number: Contact’s phone number.
• PowerList ID: Found in Manage > PowerLists in the Kixie dashboard.

Remove From Queue

Removes a Contact’s phone number from a specific Kixie Queue.

Setup:

• User Email Address: Any valid email from your Kixie account.
• Target Phone Number: Contact’s phone number.
• Queue ID: Found in the Kixie dashboard.

Send a Team SMS

Sends an auto-text from a Team SMS Inbox, allowing all assigned Agents to see and respond.

Setup:

• Team SMS ID: The ID of the Team SMS Inbox.
• Kixie Team SMS Phone Number: Choose a specific phone number (optional).
• Target Phone Number: The recipient’s phone number.
• SMS Message: The message content (supports Zapier personalization tokens).

Send SMS

Sends a text message from a designated Agent.

Setup:

• Sender Email Address: The Kixie email of the sending agent.
• Phone Number: The recipient’s phone number.
• SMS Message: The message content (supports Zapier personalization tokens).
• Country Code: Defaults to +1 for North America; specify another if needed.
