Kixie has no password field in the dashboard. Whether you are changing a password you already know or recovering one you have forgotten, you do it the same way: Forgot Password on the login page.
Change or Reset Your Password
- Go to https://app.kixie.com/login
- Click Forgot Password
- Enter the email address you sign in with
- Check your inbox for an email titled "Your new Kixie password"
- If you are currently signed in to app.kixie.com, sign out first
- Click the link in the email. It expires 15 minutes after it is sent, so use it straight away
If You Are an Admin
You cannot set or reset an agent's password for them. There is no password field on an agent's record under Manage > Agents. Ask the agent to follow the steps above using their own email address.
The Reset Email Never Arrives
- Check your spam folder. Automated mail is sometimes filtered.
- Ask your IT team to allow our domains so the email is not blocked: service@kixie.com, support@kixie.com and hello@kixie.com.
- Check the address. It must be the one on your Kixie account. For security, the confirmation page looks the same whether or not the address is registered, so a typo looks like success. If you are not sure which address your account uses, contact support.
The Link Says Expired, or Opens the Dashboard Instead of a Reset Page
The reset link is valid for 15 minutes. After that it stops working, and if you are already signed in it can land you on the dashboard rather than the reset form.
- Sign out of app.kixie.com
- Request a new reset email
- Open the link as soon as it arrives
Your Password Works on the Dashboard but PowerCall Will Not Sign In
If you can sign in at app.kixie.com but the PowerCall extension sits on the login screen or keeps loading, this is not a password problem and resetting it again will not help. See the articles in Troubleshooting, including Fixing "This Device Is Blocked for Outbound Calling" or "Invalid Device".
If you contact support about this, say clearly that the dashboard signs in and the extension does not. That one detail rules out a whole class of causes.
If You Use Two-Factor Authentication
A new password does not replace your second factor. You will still be asked for it. You can manage these settings under My Profile > Edit, in the Two-Factor Authentication section, which has Change MFA Method, Generate New Recovery Codes and Add Passkey.
If you have lost your second factor and have no recovery codes, contact support.
