Kixie Billing: Annual Contracts and Annual Bill Cycles

Daniel Lovig Daniel Lovig

Here is how Kixie contracts and annual bill cycles work.

Contracts

If you signed a contract with Kixie, the first paragraph emphasizes the most important aspect of the contract, which is:

You can only downgrade or delete your user licenses (to lower-cost plans) within the last 30 days of your Kixie contract term. For instance, if your contract is set to expire on April 30, 2023, you may begin making changes to your user licenses starting from April 1, 2024, which is 30 days before the end of your contract term. The contract term commences from the date of your initial subscription payment.

To prevent incurring unnecessary costs due to surplus licenses that are contractually obligated till the end of the term, we strongly recommend replacing existing agents before considering adding new ones.

Annual Bill Cycle

For annual billing cycles, charges for additional users or upgrades will be prorated and billed up to the end of the prepaid annual period, similar to how it's done for other billing cycles like quarterly ones.

However, it's important to note that Kixie does not provide refunds or credits for any user modifications, be it additions, deletions, or downgrades, made during an annual billing cycle. In order to avoid incurring unnecessary charges, we strongly advise you to prioritize replacing existing agents before considering the addition of new ones.
