How can I tell what date range is applied to the metrics on the Business Snapshot page?

The date range selection at the top of the page has four options: Today, This Week, This Month, and This Quarter. The default selection is Today; anytime the page is refreshed or navigated away from and navigated back to, the page will show Today by default.

To double-check the date range that's being applied to the stats on the page, the date is shown underneath the date range selection. For example, if you visit the Business Snapshot on August 25th, the date range under the selection will show "Aug 25th - Aug 25th."

If you select a different option, the date range will reflect the dates applied to the metrics on the page. For example, selecting "This Month" on August 25th, the date range will show "Aug 1st - Aug 25th."

How does the date range selection apply to the metrics on the page

For any option in the date range selection, the metrics reflect that selected date range up to the current hour.

For example, if you choose Today and are viewing the page at 2pm, the metrics on the page reflect midnight in your business timezone to 2pm. In another example, if you choose This Week and are viewing the page at at 2pm on a Thursday, the metrics on the page reflect midnight Monday to Thursday at 2pm.

More information is given on the main Business Snapshot help article here.

What do the percent numbers and "from prev" mean next to metrics shown on the page?

Next to each metric there is a number representing the total for the date range selected. For example, next to Total Outbound Calls, you might see the number 50 indicating that that 50 outbound calls have been made by the selected team for the selected date range.

Next to that number, you'll see another number as a percentage. This is the percent change for that metric compared to the previous date range.

For example, if your Total Outbound Calls of 50 reflects a date range selection of "Today" and you see "-50%" next to it, that indicates you currently have 50 percent fewer outbound calls today than you did yesterday.

How do I see what date range is being compared in metric tiles at the top of the page?

The selected date range is shown underneath the date range selector at the top of the screen. For example, if today is August 25th and you select “Today,” the date range shown will show "Aug 25th - Aug 25th" Next, hover your mouse over the “?” icon at the bottom right of each metric tile. A tooltip will display showing the date being compared. In the same example, the previous day would show as “Aug 24th - Aug 24th” since that would be one day prior to the current day.

The same date comparison is applied to all metric tiles for consistency.
