Kixie AI Dashboard is an AI assistant built into Kixie. This article covers what's on the screen, what you can ask it to do, and where to find each feature.

Overview

Kixie AI Dashboard opens to your team's live call activity, not a blank chat window. The home screen shows your key numbers, a call-trend chart, a sentiment chart, and a rep leaderboard, with the chat and a Playbook selector docked at the bottom of the screen. You can read the numbers, or you can ask the assistant about them in plain English, and it will answer, chart it, or act on it.

What's on the home screen

  • KPI cards. Calls, Connected, Connect Rate, Talk Time, and Active Reps, at a glance.
  • Call-trend chart. Call volume over time.
  • Sentiment chart. How calls are trending emotionally over time.
  • Rep leaderboard. Where each rep stands against the team.
  • Notable calls. The dashboard flags standout calls on its own, wins worth sharing and calls worth a second listen, so managers aren't hunting for them.
  • Objections and competitors panel. What objections came up and which competitors got mentioned.
  • PowerDialer lists. Your PowerDialer lists in a table, from the same screen.
  • Recent reports. The reports you've already generated or scheduled.

Asking the assistant a question

Reporting and analytics.png

Type a question in plain English, the same way you'd ask a colleague. For example: "How's the team's call volume this week?" or "Who ran into the most pricing objections yesterday?"

The assistant shows its work as it answers: a small chip appears (for example, "Used rep_leaderboard" or "Running call_trends") so you can see which part of your data it pulled from. Answers come back as text, tables, charts, or a CSV download, whichever fits the question.

The assistant doesn't just answer; it can act: post an update to Slack, log a note to your CRM, or pull a report from the same conversation.

Playbooks

A Playbook tells the assistant about your business: your process, your terminology, how you want coaching and reports to sound. Every business starts with a working default Playbook. From there:

  • Build your own three ways: upload a document or script you already have, answer a short set of questions in the Playbook Wizard, or start from scratch in the editor.
  • Set a default so every chat and report in the business starts from the same shared context.
  • Assign a Playbook to a specific team, so teams with different processes get context that matches how they actually work.
  • Reports use Playbooks automatically. Pick one for a single chat, or let the assistant use the team's assigned Playbook and fall back to the business default.

Playbooks work alongside connected data sources like synced Zoom recordings and CRM records, which the assistant analyzes together with your Kixie calls.

Searching your calls

Every call is searchable, not just by who made it. Filter by:

  • Topic
  • Company or contact
  • Sentiment
  • Minimum and maximum call duration
  • Phone number
  • Direction

Save a search as a view you can reuse, and export results to CSV.

Reports

Build a report two ways:

  1. Structured builder. Pick a time window, teams or reps, and the sections you want. Runs instantly.
  2. AI prompt. Describe the report you want in your own words, and the assistant composes it from your call data.

Either way, run it on demand or schedule it.

The Daily Call Report is a scheduled report that goes out automatically by email every morning, built from the previous day's calls, and it draws on the same analyzed call data as everything else in AI Dashboard. Every number in a report links back to the call it came from, so you can click through and hear the moment for yourself.

Calling, texting, and routing

  • Click-to-call and SMS from a panel docked beside the assistant, without leaving the screen.
  • Number health. Check a number for spam-risk or fraud signals, and block it before a rep dials.
  • IVR and queues. Build call flows directly in the product with the flow builder.
