How Do I Transfer (Port) My Existing Phone Numbers to Kixie?

Alex Mann Alex Mann

If you want to start receiving inbound calls on Kixie right away, then forward your numbers over to Kixie prior to porting, and the transition will be seamless.

The port process usually takes 7-14 business days, but you need to provide correct information on your LOA (port request form) to avoid the current phone provider's carrier rejecting your port request!

Tips to make sure you have the correct information, so your current carrier doesn't reject your port request and incur delays:

    • Please refer to:
      • a copy of your phone bill
      • your current phone provider's account dashboard
      • ask your current phone provider for a CSR (customer service record)
      • call your current provider and ask them directly

Here are the LOAs (port request forms), depending on the type of number(s):

  • For US/Canada Regular Numbers:
    • fill out the LOA for US/Canadian Regular Numbers
    • To start your number port: you MUST attach the following in an email to support@kixie.com, and we will begin the port process for you. If you do not email us the attached LOA(s), your port may not be processed. Thank you!
  • For US/Canada Toll-Free Numbers:
    • fill out this LOA for US/Canadian Toll-Free Numbers
      • If you are porting toll-free and regular local numbers to Kixie, you would fill out the toll-free number LOA for the toll-free numbers and fill out the regular number LOA for the regular numbers.
      • To start your number port: you MUST attach the following in an email to support@kixie.com, and we will begin the port process for you. If you do not email us the attached LOA(s), your port may not be processed. Thank you!
