US carriers have implemented increasingly strict requirements for registering your brand for a 10DLC Campaign. The only way we can guarantee that your 10DLC Registration will be approved is if you follow these exact guidelines. The following are steps you must take before submitting your 10DLC Registration to Kixie.

Opt-in Form

Your Opt-in Form must be configured in the following way:

  • Hosted on your website
    • This means that you can't link to an external Google Form, HubSpot Form, Salesforce Form, etc. The form must be embedded within your website itself.
  • Mention of Terms & Conditions
    • This should be a hyperlink to your Terms & Conditions page hosted on your website.
  • Mention of Privacy Policy
    • This should be a hyperlink to your Privacy Policy page hosted on your website.
  • Explicit consent by user to send SMS to them
  • Mention of message frequency
  • Mention of pricing disclosure
  • Mention of HELP & OPT-OUT information

An example of a message on an Opt-in form that satisfies all of the above criteria would be as follows:

Additional Opt-in Form tips:

  • If the Opt-in Form is not publicly accessible, please provide Kixie with a clear screenshot that contains the form and a visible URL.
  • If an Opt-in Form is spread across multiple steps, it is highly recommended to have the mandated disclosure present at each step.

Terms & Conditions

Your Terms & Conditions must be configured in the following way:

  • Hosted on your website
  • Has mention of your company name or brand name
  • Is accessible from your website's homepage

Privacy Policy

Your Privacy Policy must be configured in the following way:

  • Hosted on your website
  • Has mention of your company name or brand name
  • Is accessible from your website's homepage
  • Has mention of no mobile information sharing with 3rd party clause
    • An example of this would be as follows:
      No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes.

10DLC Registration Tips

After you have verified that your website is meeting all of the 10DLC requirements outlined above, you must then submit a 10DLC Registration to Kixie. There are 2 sections in particular that are common reasons for campaign rejection by the carriers, please pay careful attention to the following two sections while filling out our 10DLC Registration form.

Campaign Description

Your 10DLC Campaign Description must contain the following information:

  • Brand Name or Company Name
  • Message Type
    • 2FA
    • ACCOUNT_NOTIFICATION
    • CUSTOMER_CARE
    • DELIVERY_NOTIFICATION
    • FRAUD_ALERT
    • HIGHER_EDUCATION
    • MARKETING
    • POLLING_VOTING
    • PUBLIC_SERVICE_ANNOUNCEMENT
    • SECURITY_ALERT
    • MIXED
    • LOW_VOLUME
  • Use-case

An example of a Campaign Description that satisfies all of the above criteria would be as follows:

ABC LLC uses this campaign to provide appointment reminder notifications to patients regarding their upcoming dental check up for which they registered via the official website https://www.abc-llc.com.

The above message contains the Brand Name or Company Name (ABC LLC), the message type (ACCOUNT_NOTIFICATION, e.g. appointment reminder notifications), and the use-case (upcoming dental check up).

Your 10DLC Opt-in Process must contain the following information:
